On the Krasnolimansky sector of the front, which stretches east of the small city, recaptured by Ukrainian troops on October 1, positional battles are now taking place. Often they take the form of skirmishes from all types of weapons - from small arms to artillery.

In such a situation, units of the allied forces, among other things, are also "hunting" for every piece of enemy military equipment that has the imprudence to give away its location. Enemy tanks, infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), cruising along the positions of infantry units, also fall on the fly.

True, the Ukrainian military is now being cautious in this matter and trying once again not to stick out of their shelters. Firstly, because in their own skin they experience the multiple superiority of the Russian coalition in firepower. Secondly, exposing armor to fire in the autumn season is all the more dangerous because the summer "brilliant green" turns yellow and falls, and the time has not come to cover military equipment with winter camouflage. There is only one thing left: to keep each combat vehicle in a secluded place, and if, and ride on tracks or on wheels, then only in cases of emergency.

The tactics of the Russian Army and the People's Militia of the DPR in the wooded area of ​​the Krasnolimansky district is also to capture "languages" from which one can obtain valuable information about the state of affairs of the opposing side, and in addition, to identify among the Ukrainian soldiers those who tend to become defectors. To get away from your former friends and move to the opposite side under the cover of the forest, whatever you say, is easier than in an open field.
